A Book Lover’s Feast – Celebrating 30 years of The English Bookshop
For three decades, The English Bookshop has been a home for readers, writers, and stories in Uppsala. Now the bookshop celebrates its 30th anniversary with A Book Lover’s Feast – a one-night literary festival bringing together brilliant authors and passionate readers.
On this special night you can listen to favourite authors, discover new voices, and enjoy captivating conversations and interviews.

17:00 | Here we go – A Book Lover’s Feast!
• Bookseller Jan welcomes us with an anecdote from the opening in the old tannery by the River Fyris on that snowy November day back in 1995.
• Opening Speech by the UK Ambassador to Sweden Samantha Job
• Author Charles Cumming in a thrilling conversation with Ambassador Samantha Job

21:30 | Round-up with a final stroll down memory lane, before we turn our gaze towards the future.
